About me
I am a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, co-supervised by Marty Krkosek and Andrew Bateman (Pacific Salmon Foundation). I'm a first-generation university learner and of mixed western European and Manitoba Saulteaux heritage. I'm excited about science accessibility, knowledge co-production and communication strategies that make scientific results engaging and actionable.
I grew up on the west coast of Canada in a small town near Vancouver and attribute my love for nature to the fortunate location of my upbringing. When I'm not doing or talking science, I'm likely to be found hiking, climbing, beading or knitting.
