Aaniin, hi!​

I am a new Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria and will be starting a research lab (July 2026). More details coming soon! Please note, I am not currently recruiting graduate students.

 

I'm a first-generation university learner and of mixed western European and Manitoba Saulteaux heritage.​ I grew up on the west coast of Canada and attribute my love for nature to the fortunate location of my upbringing. When I'm not doing or talking science, I'm likely to be found hiking, climbing, beading or knitting.
